The free workout tracker that runs in your browser

Open gym.plus on your phone at the gym or your laptop at home, sign in, and log every set — no app store, no download, no storage used. Gym Plus is free, builds a plan for your goals in about 30 seconds, and brings your history over from Strong or Hevy.

Why track workouts in a browser

Nothing to install or update

It's a website: open it and train. There's no store listing to find, no storage to free up, and updates arrive the next time you load the page.

Every device, one account

Log sets on your phone between them, plan next week on a laptop at home. One account, one history, on whatever is in front of you.

Works where app stores don't

Chromebooks, work computers, a borrowed tablet — anything with a modern browser runs it, including devices that can't install apps.

Your data stays portable

Download your full history as CSV, JSON or Markdown whenever you like. Your training log is yours to keep.

What you can do in Gym Plus

  • Get a plan for your goal, schedule and equipment in about 30 seconds.
  • Log every set — reps and weight — with last session's numbers one tap away.
  • Keep the screen awake while you train, with dark mode and haptic feedback.
  • See your records and how your lifts move week to week.
  • Look up any of 120 exercises, each with how-to steps and form tips.
  • Use it in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, French, German or Chinese.
  • Ask the built-in AI coach, or connect Claude or ChatGPT to your training log.

Add it to your home screen (optional)

Gym Plus can sit on your home screen and open full screen like an app — still without an app store:

  • iPhone or iPad (Safari): Tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”.
  • Android (Chrome): Open the ⋮ menu, then “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
  • Mac, Windows or Chromebook (Chrome or Edge): Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.

Switching from Strong or Hevy

Export your history from your current app, then open Settings → Your data and choose the file. Gym Plus reads Strong and Hevy exports, spreadsheets (CSV), JSON, Markdown notes and PDFs. It matches every exercise to its library and shows exactly what would be added before anything is saved — nothing lands in your account until you confirm.

Leaving later is just as easy: the same page downloads your whole history as CSV, JSON or Markdown.

Your AI assistant can use it too

Gym Plus is also an MCP server — the open standard Claude and ChatGPT use to work with other apps. Connect one and your assistant answers from the workouts you actually logged, then writes plans straight into your account. See how to connect.

Frequently asked questions

Is Gym Plus really free?

Yes. There's no paid plan today. If paid features arrive, they'll be clearly marked, and you won't be charged for anything unless you agree to it first — see our terms.

Do I need to download anything?

No. It runs in any modern browser. Adding it to your home screen gives you a one-tap icon that opens full screen, but it's optional and never goes through an app store.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes — in Safari, Chrome, Edge and other current browsers on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Windows and Chromebook. Sign in with Google or with an email and password.

Can I bring my workouts from Strong or Hevy?

Yes. Export your history from your current app, then open Settings → Your data and choose the file. Strong and Hevy exports, spreadsheets (CSV), JSON, Markdown notes and PDFs all work. Every exercise is matched to the library, and you see exactly what will be added before anything is saved.

Can I get my data out again?

Any time. Settings → Your data downloads your training history as CSV, JSON or Markdown.

How is this different from a spreadsheet or a notes app?

A spreadsheet only holds what you type into it. Gym Plus also builds the plan, keeps last session's numbers for every exercise one tap away, and tracks your records over time — no formulas to maintain.

Does it work with ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Connect Claude or ChatGPT and your assistant can read the workouts you logged and create or edit plans in your account. Setup takes about a minute: Gym Plus for Claude & ChatGPT.

Leave the notepad at home.

Free, in your browser, ready before your first warm-up set.
